How to ride the trolley
-
Arrive at your stop a few minutes early. Wait on the
sidewalk where the operator can see you.

As
the trolley approaches, signal the operator that you
wish to ride.

Be
ready with the exact change.

Stay
back from the curb and wait until the trolley comes
to a complete stop. Then, board and pay your fare.

The
operator will announce major stops and
intersections. If you are not familiar with the
area, you can ask the operator to call out your
destination.

Gather all your personal items and exit the vehicle.
Step away from the trolley and wait until it leaves
before crossing the street.

Cash:
$2 per ride on Trolleys; exact fares only; no change
will be returned.

Please stand up for seniors and people with
disabilities. Federal law requires priority seating
be designated for seniors and people with
disabilities.

River
Cities Public Transit (RCPT) Trolleys are ADA
accessible.
The
schedule and other information in this timetable are
subject to change. RCPT does not assume responsibility
for errors in timetable, nor for inconvenience or damage
resulting from delayed Trolleys due to weather, traffic
conditions, and scheduling.
For Your
Safety

Riding at night? Wear light-clothing and carry a
reflector or flashlight, so the operator can see
you.

If
you are traveling alone between 6 p.m. and 3 a.m.,
you can ask the operator to drop you off between
stops. The operator will pull over at a safe place
to let you off.

Never
cross in front of a trolley, unless it is stopped at
a red light

To
report an emergency or a suspicious behavior or
package, tell the operator right away or call 9-1-1.
