If you live in a highly rural county, you and a caregiver qualify for roundtrip transportation to V.A. medical appointments at no cost.

Central South Dakota Veterans

The Highly Rural Transportation Grants (HRTG) is a grant-based program that helps Veterans in highly rural areas travel to VA or VA-authorized health care facilities.

Eligible Central SD Counties:

Aurora,  Buffalo, Campbell, Clark, Day, Dewey, Edmunds, Faulk, Gregory, Haakon, Hand, Hyde, Jackson, Jerauld, Jones, Kingsbury, Lyman, Marshall, McPherson, Mellette, Miner, Potter, Sanborn, Spink, Stanley, Sully, Tripp, and Ziebach.

For veterans living in these counties please call RCPT at (605) 945.2360 to schedule a ride.  We prefer reservations are made between two to fourteen days in advance of your scheduled appointment.

Western South Dakota and Eastern Wyoming Veterans

Bennett, Butte, Custer, Fall River, Harding, Perkins

Eligible Wyoming Counties:
